Ant-Man (2015)

Had low expectations for this film, but I actually really enjoyed it. Characters were fun, storyline was well written, and the effects were impressive. Definitely different than the other super heroes, but in a good way.

Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) – the unlikely hero
Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) – the scientist
Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lily) – the fight instructor
Darren Cross/Yellowjacket (Corey Stoll) – the power hungry bad guy
Cassie Lang (Abby Ryder Fortson) – the sassy daughter
Luis (Michael Pena) – the storyteller
Kurt (David Dastmalchian) – the foreigner
Dave (T.I.) – the hesitant one

Summary:

Overall, I actually really enjoy this movie. They stand well on their own and they are full of really fun characters. Recommend! Also, shout out to Luis – every scene you are in rocks!

Stan Lee Cameo:
Lee appears as a bartender in a story Luis tells to Scott Lang explaining that Falcon was looking for him. His part in the story is encouraging Luis’s cousin, and the informer of the story, Ignacio, to talk to a “crazy stupid fine” woman at a table separate of the bar

After Credits (2):
Middle – Hank shows Hope an advanced yet unfinished prototype of the Wasp Suit, prompting her to state “It’s about damn time”
End – Captain America and Falcon discuss what to do with a trapped Winter Soldier. With “the accords” preventing them from contacting Tony Stark, Falcon recommends “a guy” who can help them
