Very patriotic and very sweet. Made you fall in love with the characters and then did evil things with them, but watch the movie to see what.
Characters:
Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) – the super hero who is more patriotic that the founding fathers and was given a body to match
Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) – the powerful female
James Buchanan ‘Bucky’ Barnes (Sebastian Stan) – the best friend
Johann Schmidt/Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) – the evil one (I mean he is a Nazi)
Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) – the dad of the genius, billionare, playboy philanthropist therefore also the same
Summary:
“Steve Rogers, a rejected military soldier transforms into Captain America after taking a dose of a “Super-Soldier serum”. But being Captain America comes at a price as he attempts to take down a war monger and a terrorist organization.” – IMDB Summary
Overall, not my favorite Marvel Universe movie or super hero, but definitely a must watch for the series. Full of heart, friendship, action, loyalty, etc.
7/10
Also, just Chris Evans when he comes out of the chamber…
(btw this touch was not scripted – we understand Hayley Atwell)
Stan Lee Cameo:
He plays a general in World War II who mistakes another man for Captain America/Steve Rogers, commenting, “I thought he’d be taller.”
After Credit (1):
End – Nick Fury gives Steve Rogers an assignment with worldwide ramifications
